A weather app that asks for less.

BrandCove Weather works without an account, a profile, or a database. Your weather choices stay on your device.

Location

We never request your device location automatically. If you press “Use my location,” your browser asks for permission. The coordinates are sent to our first-party weather route to retrieve a forecast from Open-Meteo. They are used for that request and are not added to recent-city history.

Saved preferences

Your temperature unit, last selected city, and up to five recent cities are stored in your browser using localStorage. You can remove them at any time by clearing site data for brandcove.xyz.

Weather providers

City searches and forecast coordinates are sent through BrandCove Weather’s server routes to Open-Meteo. Open-Meteo may process request metadata under its own privacy practices. We do not send names, email addresses, or account identifiers because the app does not collect them.

Measurement

We retain Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand aggregate visits and performance. They do not create a BrandCove account or receive your saved city history from localStorage.
